The movie The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones was released on August 21, 2013. Many were so excited that the book City of Bones (part of the successful Mortal Instruments series) would be turned into a book adaptation film. The 60 million dollar movie was filmed in Toronto, Canada in 2012. The movie stars Lily Collins (daughter of Phil Collins), Jamie Campbell Bower, Robert Sheehan, Kevin Zegers, Jemima West, Lena Headey, and featuring Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Jared Harris. The movie had 4 worldwide movie premieres in the U.S, Canada, Germany, and Mexico. The movie generated about 60 million dollars in revenue. Prior to the movie being released, 3 members of the cast (Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower and Kevin Zegers) travelled the U.S. on a movie mall tour. There were five tour stops including the surprise addition to the tour. Minneapolis, Chicago, Miami, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles was a surprise addition because the cast and the author of the book Cassandra Clare we staying in L.A due to the premiere of the movie. The movie was loved by many but some producers are worried that the movie might not be that successful. Due to this situation the movie production has been postponed for now. Rumors have been passed about a "rebooted" cast. We don't know if there will be one. But fans hope there won't be. Tell us what you think about the movie being postponed in the comments!
